Freeware: Key Lock Clock von Dr. Jukka
Vom Entwickler Dr. Jukka, welcher unter anderem durch die Anwendungen Y-Browser oder Y-Tasks bekannt wurde, gibt es eine neue und kostenlose Anwendung namens Key Lock Clock. Mit dieser Applikation könnt ihr euch die Uhrzeit und weitere Informationen anzeigen lassen, auch wenn die Tastensperre aktiv ist (ein fehlendes Feature bei Touchgeräten). Die Anwendung läuft im Hintergrund und sobald ihr die Menu-Taste drückt leuchtet der Bildschirm auf und ihr seht die aktuelle Uhrzeit. Key Lock Clock besitzt zusätzlich noch zahlreiche Features und Einstellungen, mit denen ihr die Anwendung anpassen und auch für andere Zwecke nutzen könnt. So gibt es zum Beispiel beim Laden des Akkus eine Einstellung, dass ihr das Handy als Uhr nutzen könnt ("Lights on while charging"). Die Datei muss signiert werden, solltet ihr kein Zertifikat besitzen, dann könnt ihr Key Lock Clock auch online bei Symbian Signed signieren.
Key Lock Clock
Key Lock Clock is a free Clock application that is shown while the device's key lock is on. The idea was inspired by the feature found from E71 & E66.
Very simple to use, just click the application icon, set the "Clock screen" on, exit the application and lock the key lock normally. Note that the Clock screen runs in a separate background process, thus any changes made to the settings are effective only after you exit the UI application.
The clock screen lights will not be set on when the keys are locked, since most of the time when device is locked it is not meant to be used, thus to get the lights on you need to press the switcher button (that is used for switching between menu and home screen), also with non-touch devices, the arrow keys can be used for this purpose.
Note that by default the light will go out in 1 second, if longer timeout is needed, then you can set it with settings options between 1 sec and 3599 (1 hour) seconds.
Additionally this application can be used as a Table clock when the charger is connected, to enable this feature just set the "Lights on while charging" on. Also if you think that the screen lights are too bright, you can adjust it with the "Lights intensity" option.
The font in the clock screen can be changed with settings option, please note that some fonts (that usually have word "digi" in them) might only include characters numbers, thus using 12-hour clock with them would cause am/pm to be shown as empty rectangles, not a bug, but a feature of some specific fonts really.
As additional feature this application also includes automated key locker, if this feature is needed, just set it on and set the timeout for idle time out(when user is not interacting with the device) for automatically locking the keyboard.
This version was designed 5th edition touch devices such as 5800 & N97 in mind, but should work just as well with all Symbian S60 3rd edition non-touch devices.

- Beim laden keine Uhranzeige trotz das es aktiviert ist
- Uhrzeitanzeige kommt nicht immer zuverlässig bei Tastendruck, bzw. nicht immer so lange wie eingestellt

Zur eingestellten Beleuchtungszeit und dem N97:
Man muss hierfür die Menütaste verwenden nur hier leuchet die Hintergrundbeleuchtung so lange wie eingestellt.
Beim drücken der Kamerataste, On/Off oder “Leiser” bleibt es so wie vor dem Update nur ganz kurz an.
Gutes Programm, nutz ich schon seitdem es erschienen ist.

gibt jetzt die 0.60 – laut jukka wurde nur der fehler behoben, dass beim 5800 die funktion “lights on while charging” nichts bewirkte. jetzt bleibt beim laden der bildschirm wirklich an.

Werden auch verpasste Ereignisse, wie SMS oder Anrufe angezeigt?

ja, aber leider auch erstmal nur so klein wie datum und wochentag – aber man sieht es.

hab das Gefühl, dass KeyLockClock ziemlich viel Akku verbrät.
Hat da jemand ähnliches festgestellt ?

nöö, wie soll es das auch? Der Bildschirm is ja immer aus, aber ich lass mal Energy Profiler mitlaufen und sag dann was dazu.

mein test zeigte eine eventuell um 10% niedrigere restlaufzeit – könnte aber auch reine messungenauigkeit sein, da das ja auch vom empfang usw. abhängt. außerdem hät ich den test andersherum gestalten sollen: erst mit key lock clock und dann ohne, egal.
einzig, wenn man die menütaste drückt, ist der verbrauch höher, da dann das display von key lock clock auf volle helligkeit geschalten wird, während es sonst nur leicht gedimmt angeht.
